The John Allen Parent Council provides Classroom Instructional Grants that offer Allen staff funds for supplemental student materials, programming, or extra field trips in addition to the budget the district allows. Awards up to $250.00 per applicant are awarded each school year.
Classroom educators, instructional and support staff may apply for one grant in the fall and in the spring. Teachers who have not previously applied, or who applied but did not receive a grant in the fall will be considered first for the grants allocated in the spring. Awarded grants must be utilized within the current school year of approval. Please research pricing of proposed items and be as detailed as possible in your grant application.
