What time should I pick up my child in the afternoon?
  • Dismissal is at 3:59 pm. 
Parking lot?
  • Our parking lot is very small and handles a lot of traffic during the school day especially at drop off and pick up. If you are going to walk your child into the school you MUST park in a legal parking spot.  Parking in a handicap spot is illegal and you will get a ticket. Please do not park in any of the parking spaces labeled for staff members.
  • You are welcome to park in the neighborhoods and walk as well to avoid getting stuck in the congested school traffic.  
  • Towner Blvd. is a NO PARKING ZONE. Please do not park and block the traffic flow and walk in. It is very dangerous for drivers and walkers.
What are the dismissal procedures?
  • If you are driving to pick up your child, you will proceed to the upper loop, or park in the neighborhood (where allowed).  Children will wait with staff by the flagpole.
  • If you choose to park in the lot and walk into the building, please plan on waiting until the loop traffic clears before you move your car.
  • All students who ride the bus will be escorted to the lower loop where they will board the appropriate bus.
  • Students who walk home will exit to the main upper or lower loop areas as coordinated with their classroom teachers. Please always check with your classroom teacher to clear up any misunderstandings that may happen at these high traffic times.

What if I need someone else to pick up my child?
  • Call the office prior to 3PM to get a message to your child to let them know who will be picking them up.
  • ​If someone will be picking up your child on a regular basis, update your emergency contact card information.
