Are there specific guidelines for school clothes?
  • The safest footwear for students to wear during the day are sneakers or gym shoes.
  • You may want to put a change of clothes in a ziplock bag (season appropriate) in your child's backpack in case of an accident or a wet day where they may be more comfortable changing their clothes.
  • The weather can change in Michigan so dressing kids in layers is helpful for individuals to be able to monitor their own comfort levels throughout the day.
  • Winter weather: students should come to school with snowpants, winter appropriate coats, hats, gloves, and boots. If you have any hardship obtaining these items please speak with your teacher, the office or email us at allenelementarypc@gmail.com and we can assist in a completely confidential manor.
